Screen Fabric Colors
Our solar screen fabrics are vinyl-coated polyester made in the USA by Phifer, infused with Microban® antimicrobial protection to inhibit stain-causing bacteria, mold and mildew. Motorized and fixed screens use different fabric lines, so browse the colors for the type of screen you’re considering.
SunTex 95 & SunTex 97
The high-performance fabrics used on our motorized screens. Extra-wide 126″ rolls allow large, seamless openings.
SunTex 80 & SunTex 90
The proven fabrics used on our fixed solar screens for windows and openings that stay shaded year-round.
Motorized & fixed screens use different fabric lines
Our motorized retractable screens are made with SunTex 95 & 97, while fixed (stationary) solar screens use SunTex 80 & 90. Each line has its own color palette, so a color available on one may not be offered on the other. We’ll bring physical samples to your free estimate.
Which Fabric Color Is Right for You?
Darker colors
Black, Carbon and Dark Bronze give the best outward visibility and reduce glare the most.
Lighter colors
White, Stucco and Sand reflect more heat and keep your space feeling bright and open.
Higher number = more shade
SunTex 97 blocks the most sun and adds privacy; SunTex 80 keeps a more open, airy view.
